Teachers 2011

Since more than thirty years, students from all over the world have been celebrating this annual festival of chamber music. Under the direction of internationally well-known teachers of chamber music students of string and wind instruments as well as pianists gather to work intensively standard and lesser-known works in a wide range of instrumental combinations.

Luc-Marie Aguera

Studied in Paris and Cologne; member of the Ysaÿe Quartet since 1985; professor for string-quartet and chamber music in Paris and for violin in Rouen.

Klaus Becker

Studied in Cologne; international concert activity as soloist and chamber musician; founder and member of the Linos Ensemble; until 1990 principal oboist of the Bavarian Symphony Orchestra; professor for oboe at the Hanover University of Music and Drama.

Eberhard Feltz

Studied in Berlin and St. Petersburg; international concert activity as soloist and chamber musician; professor for violin and chamber music at the Berlin University of Music „Hanns Eisler“; long-time mentor of string quartets Vogler, Kuss, Faust, Rubens, Atrium, Calder, Ebène and Anima et al.

Stephan Imorde

Studied in Detmold and Bloomington (USA); founder of the Novalis Trio and for many years concerts with the violinist Ulf Schneider; international concert activity; professor for piano at the Rostock University of Music and Drama.

Hans-Dietrich Klaus

Studied in Detmold; concerts internationally; member of the Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra; Professor em. for clarinet at the Detmold University of Music.

Georg Klütsch

Studied in Detmold; international concert activity; principal bassoonist for many years of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra; professor for bassoon at the Cologne Academy of Music.

Evžen Rattay

Evžen Rattay is co-founder of the Talich Quartet with whom he performed more than 30 years; as chamber player or solist he performed numerous concerts and recorded among others completes of Beethoven, Mozart, Bartok quartets; member of Dvořák piano trio.
